In the 2019 Yele Okeremi Young IT Brains competition for primary schools, Yomfield Nursery and Primary School, Abeokuta staged a strong comeback to emerge, winner, while Foursquare Nursery and Primary School, Abeokuta and The Crescent International School, Ota clinched the second and third positions respectively.
Louisville Girls High School, Ijebu – Ode among other strong contenders won this year’s edition of the IT Talent Hunt for junior secondary schools with Taidob College, Abeokuta and The Ambassadors College, Ota settling for the first runners up and second runners up respectively.
Winners were presented with prizes and trophy for the schools; the victorious students got individual prizes for their brilliance while their teachers were also rewarded for their effort at building the students. Consolation prizes were given to the students of schools that participated in the finals including their teachers.
